Minimum Qualifications:

  • MD/DO
  • Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Board Eligible/Board Certified in Infectious Disease
  • Ability to obtain Wisconsin Medical and DEA licensures

Job Details:

  • Enjoy a varied inpatient and outpatient practice mix including Telehealth regional responsibilities as part of our patient-centered team consisting of 5 physician and 4 advanced practice providers.
  • Outpatient (4-day) work week with time split between our SSM Health Dean Medical Group Madison South Madison Campus and SSM Health Dean Medical Group in Janesville.
  • Telehealth regional consult responsibilities.
  • Remaining weeks of the month are spent with a mix of telehealth, inpatient, and outpatient clinic, including outreach opportunities to SSM Health Monroe and with one of those weeks spent in Madison at our South Madison Campus clinic
  • Inpatient Telehealth consults with SSM Health St. Clare Hospital in Baraboo.
  • Advanced Practice Provider oversite with SSM Health St. Agnes Hospital in Fond du Lac
  • Rotational participation in the weekly inpatient rotation of 1:5 where your inpatient call week is based at SSM Health St Mary's Hospital in Madison (7 am Saturday-7 am Saturday).
  • Expect to treat 20 patients per day on average in both the inpatient call week and the outpatient clinic schedule.
  • Market competitive 2-year guaranteed salary with wRVU productivity component as well as signing bonus.
  • Must be able to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with people involved in the care of the patient including other team members, attending providers, nursing staff, and ancillary staff.
