**Position Details**

- Perform inpatient and outpatient general infectious disease consultations
- Provide specialized care for outpatient and inpatient transplant recipients and candidates
- Rotate between General ID, Transplant ID, and Academic Services

**Qualifications**
- Medical Degree (MD or DO)
- Fellowship-trained in Infectious Disease
- Board Certified in Internal Medicine
- Eligible for medical licensure in the state of Michigan
- Required Certifications:
- Basic Life Support (BLS) within 120 days of hire (AHA or ARC accepted)
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) if required by specialty
**Preferred Qualifications**
- Experience managing solid organ transplant recipients, including heart, lung, and kidney transplants
- Expertise in managing Ventricular Assist Device (VAD)-related infections
