**Infectious Diseases Physician with Transplant Sub-Specialization in Grand Rapids, MI** We are seeking a Board Certified Infectious Diseases Physician with a subspecialty in Transplant Infectious Disease to join our team. This role involves providing comprehensive inpatient and outpatient consultations in infectious diseases, including specialized care for transplant recipients and candidates. Physicians in this role will rotate between General Infectious Disease, Transplant Infectious Disease, and Academic Services. **Position Details** - Perform both general and transplant infectious disease consultations for inpatient and outpatient settings - Manage infectious disease cases in solid organ transplant recipients, including heart, lung, and kidney transplant patients, as well as Ventricular Assist Device-related infections - Academic involvement with teaching responsibilities as part of the rotation on Academic Services **Position Requirements** - MD or DO; Bachelor's Degree required - Medical licensure in Michigan upon hire; BLS Certification from AHA or ARC within 120 days; ACLS Certification if required by specialty - Fellowship in Infectious Disease and Board Certification in Internal Medicine - Prior experience in managing infectious diseases in transplant patients is preferred This opportunity is ideal for a physician with a commitment to both clinical excellence and the specialized care of transplant patients. **About Grand Rapids:** - Grand Rapids is the second largest city in Michigan with a growing metro area population of over 1 million people.
