McLaren Northern Michigan is recruiting an employed Infectious Disease physician to join an experienced and highly respected team in Petoskey, Michigan.
- Work with a long-established physician, nurse practitioner and office support staff providing a mix of inpatient and outpatient care.
- The outpatient office is conveniently connected to the hospital and has 2 hyperbaric chambers and 9 exam rooms. An average schedule of 12-16 outpatients in a full office day.
- Work in a collegial environment offering general ID, HIV, hepatitis, wound care, travel medicine, home IV therapy, and diabetic foot care.
- Provide inpatient care for a 202-bed regional referral hospital - average daily inpatient census is 15-20.
- A wound-certified Nurse Practitioner delivers significant coverage in the outpatient setting and is integral to inpatient rounding.
- The practice offers a travel clinic to provide counseling and recommendations for individuals traveling outside the country.
- Qualified candidates must be board certified/eligible.
- Mentorship is available from a highly respected, experienced provider.
- Can support H1b visa candidates (This opportunity is not J1 eligible).

Petoskey is located on the shores of Lake Michigan's beautiful Little Traverse Bay in northwest, lower-Peninsula Michigan.
