Hospital in Healdton, OK, a critical access hospital located an hour's drive north of Denton Texas and South from Norman, OK is in need of ongoing weekend Emergency Department and hospitalist coverage.
This need can be filled by either a Emergency Medicine or Family Medicine provider. EM provider is preferred.
Coverage will start at 8pm Friday until 8pm on Sunday. The provider will stay and sleep in the hospital. Please submit your bid as an hourly rate. This provider will be solo in the facility for the entire weekend. Each day the ED sees an average of 8-12 patients and the physician will also round on admitted patients. The average daily census is 7 patients up to 10 and the physician will be expected to round on these patients daily as well.
The site needs two weekends a month covered ongoing (the weekends are flexible to your locums schedule) and will schedule the entire year of 2022 at this time.
Provider must be board certified, OK licensed, and vaccinated for Covid. ******
