Locums Hospitalist needed in Macon County, Illinois (could become permanent)
Required: BE/BC; IL license
Rquired: Hospitalist with Internal Medicine; Cannot accept FAMILY MEDICINE PHYSICIANS
Reason for opening: vacancy, long term coverage needed until vacancy filled
EMR: Epic
Setting: hospital, inpatient
Schedule:
Day shifts 5:30 am – 5:30 pm (In the process of changing that to 7 am – 7 pm sometime in the near future)
Open dates that need coverage immediately are:
January 18th – 28th
January 30th – February 4th
February 7th – 11th
February 13th – 18th
February 21st – 28th
All are day shifts: 5:30 am – 5:30 pm.
-10 hours in the hospital, with a 2 hour window for call back
-Average patient census- 16 per hospitalist per 12 hour shift
*Additional dates needed. Posting is ongoing through June / July 2022, 1-2 weeks/ month
*The site can do emergent privileges 2-4 weeks.
-Sub-Specialty back up/and consulting
-Clean Malpractice would be preferred
-No Procedures or Codes
