We are seeking a Board-Certified Hospitalist Physician to provide locum tenens coverage for their established inpatient medicine team. This is a daytime-only position with no call responsibilities, in a picturesque beachside setting along North Carolina’s Outer Banks.
This is an excellent opportunity to step into a well-supported facility that values quality care and clinical collaboration.
Job Responsibilities
• Admit, round on, and discharge adult inpatients
• Evaluate ED patients for admission
• Respond to inpatient codes
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to manage patient care
• No ICU management required
Qualifications
• Active NC medical license and DEA (must be confirmed prior to submission)
• ACLS (AHA-certified)
• Comfortable with ABG and EKG interpretation
• Minimum 1 year inpatient hospital medicine experience preferred
Working Hours
• 7a - 7p
• Note: New providers must arrive the day before their first shift for orientation.
