Role Overview
  • As a collaborating physician, you will play a vital role in our post-acute care practice by providing oversight and consultation to our nurse practitioners (NP) and physician assistants (PA)
  • Establish collaborative agreements: formalize partnerships with NPs and PAs
  • Facilitate regular communication: conduct monthly group video meetings to discuss clinical matters
  • Offer expert guidance: provide clinical oversight and consultation on complex cases
  • Chart review: complete a monthly chart review, per state requirements, typically 10%
  • Expected compensation is estimated salary range of $500 to $1000 per month per APC with no cap on productivity income potential
Requirements:
  • Medical degree: MD or DO with an active medical license in Missouri
  • Board certified in: emergency medicine (EM), internal medicine (IM), family practice (FP), primary care, or psychiatry
  • Collaborative experience: proven ability to work effectively with NPs and PAs in a collaborative setting
  • Interdisciplinary teamwork: strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to collaborating with healthcare professionals from various disciplines
  • Ethical standards: adherence to ethical principles and best practices in clinical care
  • Missouri residency: must reside in the Kansas City, Missouri, vicinity
