Job Title: Internal Medicine Board Certified Hospitalist

Pay Rate: $1,500 per day
Schedule:
• 7 days on, 7 days off

Job Responsibilities
1. Inpatient Care:
o Provide comprehensive medical care to hospitalized patients.
o Conduct daily rounds to monitor patient progress and update treatment plans.
2. Patient Admission:
o Assess and admit patients to the hospital based on their medical condition.
o Obtain and document patient histories and conduct physical examinations.
3. Diagnosis and Treatment:
o Diagnose and treat a variety of acute and chronic medical conditions.
o Prescribe medications, order diagnostic tests, and interpret results.
4. Care Coordination:
o Collaborate with nurses, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
o Ensure timely consultations with specialists when necessary.
5. Patient Communication:
o Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding diagnosis, treatment plans, and prognosis.
o Provide education and support to patients and families about health conditions and treatments.
6. Discharge Planning:
o Develop and implement discharge plans to ensure a smooth transition from hospital to home or other care facilities.
o Provide post-discharge instructions and follow-up care recommendations.
7. Documentation:
o Maintain accurate and timely medical records, including patient histories, treatment plans, and progress notes.
o Ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements.
8. Quality Improvement:
o Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of hospital policies and protocols.
o Engage in continuing medical education and professional development activities.
