Hospitalist Opening in Detroit Lakes, MN -Hospitalist/Nocturnist (0.8 - 1.0 FTE). Practice Specifics -We are hiring a full-time hospitalist/nocturnist to work seven on and seven offs. This position covers both day and night shifts. The day and night rotation is flexible. -As a Hospitalist Physician in our community hospital, you will be pivotal in delivering comprehensive medical care to our patients. You will provide high-quality inpatient care, manage acute medical conditions, coordinate with specialists, and collaborate with our multidisciplinary team. This is an excellent opportunity to practice medicine in a supportive and collaborative environment while significantly impacting the health and well-being of our local community. -Hospitalists will cover patients primarily in the ICU and medical-surgical units. -The average day shift patient encounters are 16 patients. -An APP partner supports the day shift. -Six physician partners practicing locally to allow flexibility in scheduling. -Internal Medicine, Hospitalist Residency, or Family Medicine with Hospitalist experience. -Excellent compensation package with paid malpractice insurance. Requirements -BC/BE Internal Medicine or Family Practice Location -Detroit Lakes is located 45 miles east of Fargo, ND, 200 miles northwest of Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN. -Detroit Lakes population: 9,795 with a regional service area, 40,000. -Centrally located in the heart of Lakes area on beautiful Detroit Lake. -The excellent school system and abundant family outdoor activities year-round. Compensation -$337,000. Hired candidates may be eligible to receive additional compensation in the form of bonuses, quality incentives or production-based compensation.
