Job Description
We are seeking a Locums or locums to per Hospitalist and Nocturnist Physicians to provide inpatient care in Rome, NY. This position requires 12-hour shifts from 7 AM to 7 PM and 7 PM to 7 AM and involves managing a diverse adult patient population. The physician will be responsible for overseeing admissions, daily patient management, and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care.
The Locums Hospitalist Physician will be responsible for providing comprehensive inpatient care, including patient assessments, developing and managing treatment plans, and coordinating with nursing staff, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality care. The physician will oversee admissions, monitor patient progress, and respond to emergent situations as needed. Additionally, they will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation within the facility’s EMR system while working in a fast-paced hospital setting.
Requirements:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
- Active New York medical license required.
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS.
