Job Responsibilities

About the Hospitalist Opportunity

Delivers proper care to all patients in the medical center during other than regular duty hours- making rounds on wards, especially checking the condition of all seriously ill patients, and those requiring special procedures such as suicidal observation or restraints.
Responds to all emergency situations, catastrophic occurrences, taking full charge of activities of the Medical Center until relieved.
Provides urgent care to patients from inpatient and outpatient settings, including all Code situations.
Participates in administrative duties as assigned.
Work effectively with other healthcare providers and interdisciplinary health care team to deliver cost effective, quality health care for both inpatients and outpatients.
Serve on clinical and administrative committees as assigned.
