Job/Practice Description:
- Pediatric Hospitalist
- Location: Findlay, OH (40mins from Toledo)
- Responsible for the Level IIB Special Care Nursery
- Emergency Department consults, limited outpatient medical consults
- Newborn care, attendance at high risk deliveries, inpatient pediatric care
- Average of 1,000 deliveries/year
- Manage infants born at 32 weeks and above, CPAP, Surfactant and ventilator care
- Average daily census of 12 (average of 2 pediatric inpatients, 8 well newborns and 4 special care)
- Six, 24 hour shifts, 6 per 28-day block
- Hospitalist service admits patients
- Nationwide Children’s Hospital collaborative partnership

Profile Background:
- Board Certified / Board Eligible Pediatrics
