Job/Practice Description:

  • Pediatric Hospitalist
  • Location: Findlay, OH (40mins from Toledo)
  • Responsible for the Level IIB Special Care Nursery
  • Emergency Department consults, limited outpatient medical consults
  • Newborn care, attendance at high risk deliveries, inpatient pediatric care
  • Average of 1,000 deliveries/year
  • Manage infants born at 32 weeks and above, CPAP, Surfactant and ventilator care
  • Average daily census of 12 (average of 2 pediatric inpatients, 8 well newborns and 4 special care)
  • Six, 24 hour shifts, 6 per 28-day block
  • Hospitalist service admits patients
  • Nationwide Children’s Hospital collaborative partnership

Profile Background:

  • Board Certified / Board Eligible Pediatrics
