We are seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Hospitalist to join our dedicated team. This position offers a fulfilling opportunity to provide comprehensive inpatient care while working alongside a supportive team of healthcare professionals.
- Manage the clinical care of hospitalized patients from admission to discharge.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for patients, their families, and the healthcare team.
- Collaborate with an APP (Advanced Practice Provider) during the day to ensure seamless patient care.
- Participate in daily rounding and coordinate treatment plans with multidisciplinary teams.
- Maintain accurate documentation using Cerner EMR.
- Provide high-quality care in a team-based hospital setting with a focus on patient outcomes.
- Strong clinical and diagnostic skills in managing adult inpatients.
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities for interacting with patients, families, and care teams.
- Proficiency in utilizing Cerner EMR for charting and documentation.
- Team-oriented approach to delivering high-quality inpatient care.
Job Responsibilities

Qualifications
Valid Illinois medical license (required).
Current ACLS and BLS certifications.
Minimum of 1 year of hospitalist experience preferred.
CSR License and DEA certification (required).
Working Hours
Day shifts include 1 MD and 1 APP, while night shifts are covered by 1 MD.
No on-call requirements.
Skills

Proficiency in utilizing Cerner EMR for charting and documentation.
