Hospitalist opening in West Burlington, IA Located 80 miles from Davenport, IA Details:

  • Full Time
  • Permanent
  • A 380 bed independent, regional, financially stable health system
  • 134 shifts per year with the rest of the time for Medical Director duties (equal to 34 shifts) for a total of 168 shifts per year
  • Manageable volume wtih 12-15 patients at a time
  • Round robin admitting shared equally and two short days in each 7 day rotation
  • Open ICU with full time PulmCC docs onsite
  • Infectious Disease and other specialists (cardiology, pulm, nephrology, rheumatology, surgical specialties) available onsite for consults
  • Over 240 providers on staff and 2500+ employees largest employer in the area and rated as a "Top Workplace" in Iowa by the Des Moines Register!
  • Board certified emergency medicine physicians available 24/7 to staff the ER
  • 24 weeks of day shifts with 2 Weeks Off / full benefits / malpractice insurance / $15k for relocation and a $50k commencement bonus
  • Onsite daycare for employees
