Pediatric Hospitalist Physician
StartDate: ASAP Pay Rate: $140.65 - $152.25
Practice Details:
Pediatric Hospitalist Pediatric Post Acute Care
Provide inpatient care to pediatric patients recovering from significant injury or illness in the post acute care setting with the support of nurse practitioners and subspecialty providers. Provide family centered care and leadership to a multidisciplinary team.
Oversee the care of patients participating in pulmonary rehab, feeding therapy, medical rehabilitation, and intensive rehabilitation. Care for patients with complex medical needs many of whom are technology dependent and have complex discharge planning needs.
In house coverage with daytime, nighttime and weekend shifts.
Experience caring for patients with complex medical conditions and technology dependence, fellowship training- hospital medicine, ICU, NICU and or complex care preferred.
CERTIFICATION, REGISTRATION, OR LICENSURE REQUIRED BY THE JOB
• Board Eligible or Board Certified Pediatrician
• PALS
• Must be licensed as a Physician in Massachusetts
don’t require NRP
do have a Ped Intensivist on staff to handle intubations/complex cases
• Preferred – Experience caring for patients with complex medical conditions and technology dependence, fellowship training- hospital medicine, ICU, NICU, complex care
