Position: Pediatric Hospitalist
Coverage Needed:
January 26 at 7 AM – January 28 at 7 AM
February 15 at 7 AM – February 17 at 7 AM
February 21 at 7 AM – February 23 at 7 AM
Inpatient
Rounding and on-call coverage
Possible patient care in the Emergency Department
Admitting pediatric patients
Coverage of newborn nursery, scheduled C-sections, and deliveries
Not required to stay on-site during call; must be within 30 minutes of the facility
Must attend orientation the day before the first shift
Average Total Inpatient Census: 5
Average Patients/Day/Provider: 2
Average Admissions/Day/Provider: 2
Certifications Required: BLS, PALS, NRP
No ICU/Critical Care Procedures
Must respond to codes
10-bed pediatric unit
Emergency Department: Low Volume, 23,000 patients/year
Hospital Beds: 114
EMR: EPIC
Benefits: Travel and lodging provided; malpractice insurance coverage; weekly electronic pay; earn up to $1,000 per referral.
