TeamHealth and HCA Florida West Hospital are seeking a dynamic and experienced internal medicine (IM) program director to lead our established IM Residency Program. Qualifications:
- Board Certification: internal medicine (ABIM or AOBIM)
- Experience: minimum of three (3) years post-residency clinical practice and at least three (3) years of GME teaching/administrative experience as a program director or associate program director in an ACGME-accredited residency program
- Scholarly Activity: recent engagement in scholarly activity such as: peer reviewed funding, publication of original research or review articles in peer-reviewed journals, chapters in textbooks, publication or presentation of case reports or clinical series at scientific society meetings, or participation in national committees or educational organizations (within last 5 years)
- Skills: strong interpersonal, communication, administrative, and team-building abilities
