Hospitalist Locums Job in Pennsylvania | ASAP Start and Ongoing | Assignment #106362

Coverage Needed:
- Hospitalist locums CCU coverage needed
- ASAP start and ongoing/until FTE is hired, likely for at least the next 6 months or longer.
- Hours: 7pm – 7am

Details/Requirements:
- Coverage for CCU patients
- Receive sign-out from CCU Resident Team that covers during the day
- Cardiologist on-call for additional support
- Admit patients to CCU, provide critical cardiology care, discharge, transfer
- Skills Required: Internal Medicine, Cardiology, or Critical Care Experience
- Skills Preferred: Cardiology Fellow, Critical Care Fellow, Intensivist
- Emergency/Temp Privileges Granted
- Call: No
- # of beds: 19 bed unit shared with Cardiac Surgery
- Patient Volumes: ~ 4-6 patients, sometimes more. Also responsible for responding to urgent and emergent patient care requests for inpatient cardiology patients.
- EMR System: Epic
- Temp/Emergency Privileges: Yes
- Committee/review meeting: Each provider goes to the credentials committee, the medical executive committee, and the clinicians affairs committee for approval.
- References needed for a complete file: 3 references required. Requirements different for those just out of residency or fellowship versus those with clinical experience.
