Seeking a full-time BC/BE Hospitalist to join a well-established Hospitalist program in central Minnesota.
Position Details:
Located in central Minnesota, this city is a popular destination for outdoor recreation, especially due to its many nearby lakes and beautiful natural surroundings. Known for its scenic beauty, the area offers a range of activities including fishing, boating, hiking, and golfing. In addition to outdoor pursuits, the community features family-friendly attractions, cultural events, and local festivals, contributing to a welcoming small-town atmosphere. Situated about two hours north of the Twin Cities, it offers an ideal getaway for those looking to experience Minnesota's lakes and forests, while still being within reach of a major metropolitan area.
Position Details:
- Flexibility to split with outpatient Family Medicine or Internal Medicine if desired
- Pay incentive for extra shifts
- Full-time equivalent = 24 weeks/year

- 160+bed hospital and Level III Trauma Center
- Schedule: 7 on 7 off, 12 hour shifts
- Hospitalists will cover Med/Surg & ICU, including ventilator co-management with intensivist, RT, and remote support from Duluth
- Current team is 10 physicians and 2 NPs
- Opportunity to teach and precept medical and PA students, and for future program leadership
- 13-16 patients per day, per hospitalist (rounding and admitting)
- Average inpatient practice volume per day: Med Surg-50 / ICU-10
- Average daily census on unit: 50-60
- Certified Primary Stroke Center, co-management with stroke neurology, growing cardiovascular program, and top-performing sepsis care
- Hospitalist team runs codes and rapid responses
- No procedures required (general surgery performs central lines)
- Excellent compensation package, paid malpractice insurance, relocation, and benefit package
REQUIREMENTS
- BC/BE Internal Medicine or Hospitalist Residency, or Family Medicine with Hospitalist experience
- Current ACLS Required
- Option for FCCS course for added critical care education
