Qualifications:

  • A medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution is required.
  • Board certification in internal or family medicine and a minimum of 2 years of hospitalist leadership experience are mandatory.
  • An active medical license in Washington or eligibility for licensure is required.
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States.
Practice in the Heart of the Community

Flexible Scheduling:

  • Enjoy a schedule that includes seven monthly clinical shifts, with dedicated administrative time to focus on leadership responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate comprehensive medical care and post-operative care to a 137-bed facility, including an open ICU with subspecialty backup
  • Work with internal and family medicine residents as primary teaching faculty for their inpatient rotations
  • Provide clinical oversight and foster a family-like environment within a blended, collaborative team.
  • Procedures are not mandatory for our team. Our dedicated hospitalist and emergency room teams handle code responses, ensuring a collective and supportive approach.
  • Utilize EPIC EMR systems and Sound’s internal informatics platform.
