Hospitalist opening in Blackfoot, ID Located 20 miles from Idaho Falls, ID Position Details:

  • Full-time, permanent position
  • Hospital Employed
  • Internal Medicine-trained
  • 25 bed critical access hospital.
  • Average medicine census of about 6-8.
  • 1 in 3 Hospitalist rotation.
  • Employee guaranteed salary.
  • One of the three current Hospitalists is retiring.
  • Need someone to start sometime Aug/Sept 2025 preferred

Compensation and Benefits Base comp: $2000 per 24-hour shift (no less than 122 shifts per year, ability to pick up additional shifts) Up to 25K per year in bonuses for performance and quality compensation Incentive compensation of $60/wRVU for work performed over 225 wRVUs per month 25K Commencement bonus 5K per year for CME Reimbursement for licenses, fees, boards, etc. Great health/dental/eye/life/disability Access to retirement management accounts Student Loan Repayment Housing Allowance Relocation No call requirement Additional Information: We know that where you live is just as important as where you work.
