Pediatrix® Medical Group seeks a full-time Pediatric Hospitalist to join our practice at The Children’s Medical Center at Summerlin Hospital in Summerlin, NV. Outstanding opportunity to join a well-established Pediatric Hospitalist practice.
Job Description:
  • At least 1 year of current inpatient Hospitalist work experience is required. Must be able to provide at interview the last 12 months' worth of case logs from a hospital setting.
  • 2 Hospitalists inhouse during the day
  • Varied shifts - combination of in-house and call from home.
  • 34-bed pediatric floor covered by the 5-physician team of Pediatric Hospitalists
  • Pediatric floor average daily census of 24
  • 12-bed PICU covered by our affiliated practice of Pediatric Intensivists
  • NICU and newborn nursery is managed by our affiliated Neonatology practice
  • Full-fledged children's hospital with well represented sub-specialties and a dedicated Pediatric ED
  • Academic affiliation with a pediatric residency program with opportunities to mentor, teach and train pediatric residents and medical students
  • Robust quality improvement program and opportunities for clinical research, if desired
  • At least 1 year of current inpatient Hospitalist work experience is required. Must be able to provide at interview the last 12 months' worth of case logs from a hospital setting.
  • This is a full-time, permanent position that may require residency within the immediate local area. Relocation may be required. To be discussed at interview.
  • Open to experienced providers and recent graduate candidates - TRULY Board Eligible within 5 years of eligibility and working toward Board Certification
  • Will not accept candidates with lapsed Board Certification who need to obtain it again

Submission Requirements

  • NV license (or willing to obtain)
