Seeking an additional Board Certified or Board Eligible OB Hospitalist ASAP at Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Alliance! Serving more than 50,000 patients each year, Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Alliance is a vital part of the communities in North Fort Worth, Haslet, Justin, Roanoke and surrounding areas.
Job Description:
- Full-time is considered 7.5 24-hour shifts a month
- Will consider someone who wants to work a minimum of 5.5-hour shifts/month (still benefit eligible)
- Seeking a provider who can start with an active Texas license as soon as possible
- Handle an annual delivery volume of 1,924, with 96 vaginal and C-section deliveries performed by hospitalists.
- Manage a 40% C-section rate in the delivery caseload.
- Oversee 2,296 unscheduled outpatient OB/GYN triage visits annually.
- Conduct 1,229 OBED consults each year.
- Collaborate with in-house neonatologists and neonatal nurse practitioners in a Level II NICU setting.
- Work with maternal-fetal medicine specialists to manage high-risk pregnancies.
- Perform tasks including OB triage, admissions, attending deliveries, and inpatient care.
- Provide care for unassigned patients and assist with private call coverage.
- Cover the OB floor and handle ER consults for GYN emergencies.
- Assist in surgical procedures during Cesarean sections.
- Respond to emergencies in the labor and delivery unit.
