  • Coverage Needed
    • As soon as credentialed - ongoing
    • Schedule:
      • Provider 1:
        • Every Week
        • Mon - Fri: 7:00 am - 3:00 pm
        • with possible Sat & Sun: 8:00 am - 4:00 pm
      • Provider 2:
        • 7 on/7 off
        • Monday-Thursday: 1p-1a, Friday: 12p-12a, and Saturday/Sunday: 8a-8p
  • Clinical Details
    • Inpatient hospital admitting & rounding
    • Patient population mix: ≥18 years; Medicare, Medicaid, & Private Payors
    • Average Number of Cases per day: Approx. 8 patients
    • Trauma level 2
    • Support Staff: Full MD/DO support; RN & Techs
    • EMR: Epic
    • Number of beds: 329
  • Requirements
    • PA-C (Acute Care Certified) - Highly Preferred
      • An exception may be made if provider has an additional certification in acute care (as an ACPN) and direct patient care experience in a hospital setting within the last years as an advanced practice provider, in addition to certification as an FNP
    • For NPs: MUST have the Acute Care certification
    • Active IL License, CSR/DEA
    • BLS Certification
    • Clean malpractice/history - Highly Preferred
    • Proof of Covid vaccination
    • Bread & butter Hospital Medicine APP experience
