Hospitalist - Physician

Hospital Details

  • Fully-licensed hospital offering emergency, primary and specialty care
  • The 25,000 sq. ft. facility has 10 inpatient beds
  • Limited specialty care
  • Lab services and diagnostic radiology including CT and ultrasound available on site

Emergency Department

  • ED Volume: 15,000
  • ED Beds: 8 - 10
  • Staffing Model:
    • 24 hours of single physician coverage per day with 12-hour shifts
    • 8 hours of APP coverage per day
  • EMR: Epic
  • State-of-the-art, fully-equipped emergency department
  • Staffed by emergency medicine board-certified physicians and appropriate support staff
  • Easy access and established transfer protocols to all Allegheny Health Network facilities for a full continuum of care via the AHN Transfer Center

Hospitalist Service

  • Average Daily Encounters: 3
  • State-of the-art, fully equipped, 10 - 12 bed inpatient unit
  • Staffed with IM & FM trained physicians as well as APPs
  • Team approach to patient care
  • Block scheduling
