Hospitalist - Physician
Hospitalist Service
- Average Daily Encounters: 85
- Four-five physicians, one APP daily, seven days on/ seven days off; one swing shift APP, seven days on/seven off; one nocturnist per day
- Scheduling 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. for day APP & MD; 1:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. for swing APP, 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. for nocturnist

- Efficient newly-renovated department with 43 beds including 10 fast-track beds
- All new imaging equipment including; Lab and x-ray, which are located adjacent to the ED and have quick turnaround times; ultrasound 24 hours/day (Monday-Thursday and on-call weekends); brand new CT which is available 24 hours/day
- Upcoming, renovation of the existing nuclear medicine department
- Emergency physicians do not write admitting orders or respond to floor codes
