A Physician-led, professionally managed employed medical group, is seeking a BC/BE Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Physician to serve as System Hospitalist Director for facilities in both Northeast Tennessee and Southwest Virginia.


Director Profile:
  • 40% Administrative, 60% Clinical
  • Drive, support, and model a service-oriented culture focused on physician & APP engagement, quality, patient safety, service excellence, and fiscal responsibility.
  • Provide clinical support for physicians on shift.
  • Supervise 6 practice locations with the assistance of Site Directors at hub facilities.
  • Shadow and coach, assist with onboarding and mentoring new physicians, recruiting, and strategic planning.
  • Build and maintain strong, open, collegial, and supportive relationships with other executives and hospital leaders.
  • Develop cross-disciplinary clinical integration to provide a seamless patient experience.
  • Support FM and IM residency programs in multiple facilities.
  • Support population health management efforts.
  • Provide Quality Review and Assurance, including Peer to Peer feedback.
  • Place high value on clinician well-being.
