**Hospitalist Associate Medical Director Opportunity - Fort Dodge, Iowa**
We are actively recruiting for a Hospitalist Associate Medical Director to join our team in Fort Dodge, Iowa. This is a full-time opportunity to make a significant impact in a supportive, patient-centered environment. Join a cohesive group of experienced colleagues and supportive staff, with specialists readily available across a wide range of disciplines.
**Position Details**
- Full-time opportunity with an established hospital medicine program
- 0.4 FTE dedicated to administrative duties, including supporting the CMO with quality work, serving as an inpatient EPIC physician champion, and functioning as an inpatient medical director
- 0.6 FTE dedicated to clinical shifts, including admitting and rounding on medical/surgical patients aged 18 years and older
- 9 clinical shifts per month (12 hours each), with no night shifts, no procedures, no codes, and no call
- Telehospitalist service available overnight
- Open ICU with intensivists available for consults
- Average patient load: 18/day

**Position Requirements**
- Leadership and practice experience preferred
- MD or DO, Board Eligible/Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- Ability to obtain and maintain an unrestricted Iowa medical license
- Current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe medications
- Eligible to work in the U.S. (H1-B cap exempt)
