Seeking a BE/BC GI Hospitalist to join practice.
- Hospital Employed
- Level I Trauma Center
- The GI Hospitalist role offers the stimulation of challenging acute-care cases, opportunities for advanced invasive procedures, and constant interaction with other physicians in a hospital setting.
- Opportunities exists for EMR, ESD, and EUS for appropriately trained candidates.
- 7 on / 7 off, but open to discussing other options.
Skills:
- Have an interest in acute care
- Have in-depth knowledge of the diagnosis/treatment of complex GI diseases
- Be proficient in all basic and emergency GI procedures (e.g., variceal and ulcer bleeding, food impactions, and volvulus) and in advanced procedures (e.g., ERCPs and complex dilations)
- Possess excellent communication skills
- Be adaptable and flexible for rapidly changing endoscopy needs
