Hospitalist, Physician

About this role:
As a Hospitalist, you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience. In this role you will provide inpatient care at the designated hospital for Intermountain Health Care. You will oversee the patient’s care during their hospital stay, communicating with the primary care team and specialists every step of the way to ensure that the patient gets the care needed to return home safely.
- This position includes a sign- on bonus, relocation allowance if applicable,
- You will practice at Henderson Hospital
- Provide dayshift coverage
- Schedule: Monday through Friday and every 3rd weekend
- Avg Daily Patient Census: 17/day with age range of 65+ -day shift plus any admissions
- Weekend Patient census is 20 plus any admissions.
- There are 2 hospitalist per practice location

What you’ll bring:
- MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine
- Residency training in Family or Internal Medicine
- Board certification or eligibility in the designated discipline in Family or Internal Medicine
- Active, unobstructed Nevada medical license, or the ability to obtain one
- Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process
