Position: Permanent MD/DO - Hospitalist/Nocturnist
Location: Dothan, Alabama
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the care of hospitalized patients, including admissions, discharges, and daily rounding.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate patient care and ensure optimal outcomes.
Perform comprehensive assessments, develop treatment plans, and monitor patient progress.
Provide clear and effective communication with patients, families, and medical staff.
Respond to emergencies and manage critical care situations as needed.
Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient interactions and treatment plans.
Qualifications:
Board-certified or board-eligible MD/DO in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
Active Alabama medical license or eligibility to obtain one.
Previous experience in a hospitalist or nocturnist role preferred.
Strong clinical skills and a commitment to high-quality patient care.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
