Locums – Arizona Hospitalist Job – 90 Minutes from Phoenix

- Locum job opening
- Seeking a board certified or truly board eligible internal medicine or family medicine physician
- Work during the day and then take call at night
- 24 hour in house call coverage
- 11/14 at 12p – 11/18 at 12p
- You’d attend orientation on 11/14 from 8a-12p
- You’d work with another physician
- Future blocks may become available
- Solo coverage
- Hospitalists respond to codes
- Required procedures include central lines, intubation, and ventilator management
- Average daily census: 22+
- Average daily encounters per physician: 15-18
- 4 ICU beds
- Open ICU
- Subspecialty support includes 24 hour anesthesia, podiatry, pain clinic, cardiology, OB, general surgery, and more
- EMR: Meditech
- Dragon dictation
- ACLS required
