- Do you know someone that might be a good fit for this position? Please ask about our generous referral fees!
- Seeking a board certified or truly board eligible internal medicine physician
- Permanent job opening
- Reason for need: growth
- Work for a private hospitalist group
- You’d be credentialed at two hospitals - only cover one hospital while you work and you do not have to travel between hospitals
- You will be working at both hospitals, just not in the same week
- Group is looking to hire nocturnists
- 12 hour shifts – either 6-6 or 7-7 depending on the site
- 7 on/7 off
- Round and go
- Patient load is generally 18-22 a day, maybe higher in busy season
- Day admissions at Hospital #1 range from 0-2 from 0600-1200
- Daytime admitter comes in from 1200-2000
- Hospital #2 admissions are from either 0700-1200 or 1600-1900
- Hospital #1 – the group has 5 hospitalists teams with 2 NP teams and one admitter. At night there is one nocturnist, one swing NP until midnight, and one ICU nocturnist
- Hospital #2 – the group has two hospitalists and one NP team. At night there is one nocturnist
- Procedures not required
- ICU rounding at Hospital #1 may be needed but would only be as the PCP and ultimately the hospitalist who will follow the patient after downgrade. There will be Intensivists support. At Hospital #2 there will be rounding in the ICU as the main doc as there are no Intensivists there, however if a patient is decompensating, it is recommended that the patient be transferred to Hospital #1’s ICU
- At Hospital #1, the Hospitalists are expected to respond to Codes and RRs on their patients if they are in the facility. The ED and Intensivists are in charge of running the Codes. At Hospital #2, you are expected to respond to Codes and RRs
- 2025 residents welcome!
- Group can sponsor H1 visas
- EMR: Cerner
- Allow RecruitWell to set up a phone call with you and the client to discuss more!
