We are seeking a Locums Hospitalist Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to provide PRN coverage in Guttenberg, IA. Shifts are available in 24, 48, or 72-hour blocks, running from 8 AM to 8 AM. Weekend coverage is required as needed, with PRN on-call responsibilities.

The facility is a 25-bed hospital with a Trauma Level IV designation, handling an annual ER volume of 2,400. The percentage of Emergency Department patients transferred per day varies depending on the case. In this role, key responsibilities include managing non-invasive ventilation (BiPAP/CPAP), overseeing ventilation management, performing intubations (ETT/INT), inserting chest tubes, and placing central lines and PICC lines.

Requirements:

• Active Iowa license or IMLC required at the time of submission
• Board certification in Family Medicine required (board-eligible within five years of residency will be accepted)
• Certifications in BLS, ACLS, ATLS, NRP, and PALS are required
