Hospitalist Medical Director for Ascension St. John Jane Phillips Medical Center in Bartlesville, Oklahoma.

As a Hospitalist Medical Director with USACS, you’ll be responsible for managing hospitalist medicine services by collaborating with the hospital and nursing leadership while offering support to your physician staff. As a leader for both the hospital and US Acute Care Solutions, you will influence broad company decisions and help facilitate the development of new leaders.

  • Oversee hospitalist service operations
  • Supervise HM staff, per the bylaws, policies and procedures of the institution
  • Represent the staff in the community and within the hospital
  • $50,000 per year Medical Director stipend

Hospitalist Service

  • Average Daily Encounters: 52
  • 24/7 on-site physician support
  • Staffing Model:
    o 36 hours of physician coverage
    o 12 hours of APP coverage daily
  • EMR: Cerner
  • Dedicated nocturnist
  • Work collaboratively with the Integrated Acute Care team (emergency, critical care, and hospital medicine service lines also managed by USACS)
