Clinical Role:

- ASAP
- Duration: 3 Months
- Open FTEs
- Schedule: 1 physician position on days; 6a-6p – on-call for the entirety of the shift
- Once shift is over, you are not expected to be called or called back once your shift is completed
- Call/Rotation Schedule: No specific schedule
- Will take APP (or SFA when applicable) as surge/backup
- 1 orientation/shadow shift and a 2nd shadow shift; both are 12h shifts
- Seasoned providers that can handle 22+ encounters are encouraged to apply; providers will also be providing consultation to Gero psych unit and rehab unit
- Emergency privileges can be considered depending on the need
- Case log requirements: will be discussed with MSO once application starts to go through
- Beds in Facility: 100
- Census: 14-24
- Daily Admissions: 4-5
- Consults: Yes, to behavioral health unit or rehab; 4-6 per day
- Patient Population: Underserved
- Support Staff: We have PT, OT, SLP, case managers, respiratory therapy, a virtual intensivist that manages drips and vents, ED/surgery that help with procedures
- ICU Rounding: Yes; open ICU with tele-intensivist involvement as above
