Details
- Setting: inpatient hospitalist or nocturnist needed in Chicago, IL
- 42 medical/surgical beds
- 6 ICU beds
- diagnostic radiology and cardiovascular imaging available
- extensive outpatient services available for referral with primary and specialty care such as cardiology, endocrinology, orthopedics, pediatrics, sports medicine and bariatrics, as well as behavioral health and dental services
- outpatient pharmacy available
- Must have experience with the following procedures (ED also helps with intubations if necessary):
- intubation, central venous line placement, arterial venous line placement, paracentesis, thoracentesis, lumbar puncture
- EMR: Cerner
- Schedule: night shift - 7pm-7am; needing 7 days on, 7 days off schedule
- Credentialing timeline: 60-90 days
- Must be board certified or eligible (if eligible - must have confirmed exam date)
- Active and unrestricted IL license
- Active and unrestricted DEA
- Active and unrestricted IL controlled substance license
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Minimum 1 year of hospitalist experience required
