Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic - St. Mary Physician's Group is looking for a full-time OB Hospitalist/Laborist to join the team in Langhorne, PA.
Job Description:
  • Provides medical oversight for the Labor and Delivery and Post Partum Units to ensure the care and safety of St. Mary’s Maternity patients.
  • Three 12-hour shifts per week -- schedule to be discussed at interview. This is an hourly paid position working three 12's split between evenings and days.
  • We offer many things to expectant mothers in Bucks County, including state-of-the-art care and OB/GYN specialists with convenient office locations throughout the area. High-risk pregnancy management experts, a Level II Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, and specialists, physicians and nurses trained in high-risk newborn care are all here.
  • What to expect at St. Mary Maternity Care Center:
    - A full range of prenatal healthcare services, including pre-conception counseling to discuss what genetic testing, outpatient laboratory testing and perinatal testing may be appropriate for your pregnancy
    - High-risk pregnancy management
    - Meaningful maternity classes, childbirth preparation programs and support groups
    - 24/7 onsite obstetric laborists to provide care for women in labor and available to respond and assist with unexpected obstetric emergencies
    - Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia neonatologists available in the St. Mary NICU 24/7
    - Birthing plans tailored to your needs, including labor support, midwifery care and obstetricians on-site at all times
    - Private labor, delivery, recovery, and mother-baby suites
    - Highly experienced and board-certified obstetricians, midwives and registered nurses supporting your delivery process
    - Personalized breastfeeding education and support from board certified lactation consultants as well as nurses with specialized lactation education
    - Anesthesia available 24/7 for obstetric patients

  • PA license (or willing to obtain)
  • NCC certification in fetal monitoring (or willing to obtain within 6 months of hire)
