Facility in Cambridge, OH seeking Hospitalist locums coverage

Rates: $200 - $210/hr

Job Overview:

• Start Date: December 2024

• Shift Details:

  • Physician Shifts:

    • Days: 7a-7p (2 physicians)

    • Nights: 7p-7a (1 physician)

  • APP Shifts: 7a-7p (2 APPs)

  • Daily Census: 31.6 patients

  • Night Admissions: Average 5-6 admissions per night

• EMR System: MediTech

• ICU Beds: 12

Specialty Coverage:

• Pulmonology (Mon-Fri, with evening and weekend call availability)

• Surgery

• Orthopedics

• Cardiology

• Podiatry

• Ophthalmology

• Interventional Radiology (para, thoracentesis, bone marrow, ports)

• PICC Line Nurse available

Procedures:

• Required:

  • Intubation (assistance available from RT, who are being trained to intubate all patients)

  • Central Line Insertions (frequent)

  • Vent Management

• Preferred:

  • Chest Tubes

  • Lumbar Puncture

Additional Notes:

• Anesthesia is currently training RTs for intubation assistance, and RT will be available 24 hours.

Requirements:

• Board Certification (ABMS/AOA IM/FM) – REQUIRED (Double boarded ABPS accepted)

• Ohio License – REQUIRED, not accepting IMLC

• 2+ Years Recent Experience – REQUIRED

• Procedural Logs (within the past 12 months) reflecting Central Lines, Intubations, & Vents – REQUIRED

• COVID Vaccination – REQUIRED
