TinkBird Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Physician Hospitalist in Tarboro, North Carolina.
Job Highlights:
Clinical Responsibilities:
- Manage Level II nursery and well newborn nursery (for Med-Peds trained physicians).
- Daily rounding, admissions, discharges.
- Vent management and intubation, central line placement, and thoracentesis.
- Schedule: 7 on/7 off schedule, 7 AM - 7 PM, with two 7 PM - 7 AM shifts every other week.
- ICU Coverage: ICU managed by pulmonary critical care physicians from 8 AM - 5 PM; hospitalist team covers nights and weekends.
- Team: Join an established team of 6 hospitalists.
- Patient Volume: Anticipated patient volume is 15-20 patients per shift.
- Support: Strong air and ground support to transfer patients to a Level I Trauma Center.
- EMR System: System-wide integrated EMR—EPIC.
- Certifications: BLS and ACLS certifications required.
- Location: Close proximity to and ability to live in nearby Greenville, NC.
