Hospitalist position in the home of the University of Wisconsin Badgers. This is a physician-led, nonprofit health care organization. 7 on / 7 off position . 10-hour admitting shifts; staggered: 11a-9p, 12p-10p, 3p-1a, 6-hour admitting shift; 5p-11p, Overnights; 9p-7a; there are dedicated Nocturnists. Open ICU with intensivist availability to consult. Full spectrum of specialty support available. Average census of 13-15. No required procedures; option to do some limited ultrasound procedures. Hospitalists are primary responders for codes unless intensivist takes over. Overnight shifts covered by Nocturnists/Telehospitalists. Average of 30 admits per day. Shift based compensation with performance incentive and wRVU kicker. Attractive incentive package.
