St. Joseph's Hospital:
- Received the 2022 Stroke Gold Plus Quality Achievement Award with Target Stroke Honor Roll Elite and Target Type 2 Diabetes Honor Roll from the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association.
- Certified as a Comprehensive Stroke Center by DNV Healthcare.
- Designated as a Cardiac Arrest Receiving Center by Arizona Department of Health Services.
- Accredited as a Chest Pain Center by American College of Cardiology.
- Certified by the American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation for cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation programs.
Job Responsibilities
• Full-time, employed opportunity based out of St. Joeseph’s Hospital in Tucson, AZ
• Average patient census is 18 with 1 – 2 admissions per shift
• Closed ICU; procedure support from Intensivists and IV Team
• Opportunity to teach internal medicine residents if desired

Qualifications
• MD or DO
• BE/BC with the American Board of Internal Medicine
• Texas licensed or eligible to obtain licensure in the State of Texas
• Spanish-speaking skills a plus; however not required
Working Hours
• 1 swing shift and 1 nocturnist along with two Advanced Practice Providers during day and 1 at night
