As the medical directors for Sound Physicians’ hospitalist practice at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, in Los Angeles, California, we are honored to have been an integral part of our practice. People
  • We have a diverse team with 19 clinicians from various backgrounds who collaborate and learn from each other.
  • We collaborate with other hospital departments to ensure seamless care transitions and actively participate in community health initiatives.
Practice
  • Our hospital has 915 beds. We don’t require any procedures.
  • We welcome all board-certified/eligible FM and IM candidates, however internal medicine is preferred for this position.
  • Our hospitalist team is trained in basic life support and advanced cardiovascular life support, participating in rapid response and code teams.
  • We use EPIC and have access to Sound’s informatics platform.
  • Expected annual compensation for the first year is $250,000 to $275,000.
  • Benefits include paid medical malpractice and tail coverage.
  • We maintain a high retention rate and collaborate to ensure coverage during time off.
