Seeking a BE/BC Internal or Family Medicine physician to join a Hospitalist team in northern eastern Maine. Join two local hospitalists and two part-time hospitalists in a 25-bed critical access hospital with an active 10-bed ED.

About the position:

• Coverage is 24/7, being in the hospital probably from 7a to 3p
• Call thereafter, mostly by phone, but occasionally called back to the hospital at one daily rate.
• Admissions average 1 to 4 daily
• Very manageable caseload
• Employed position
• All admissions through the Emergency Department
• Patient types: Four intermediate care beds (No ICU), Medical/Surgical, Observation, Swing and Days Waiting Placement
• EMR: Meditech Expanse
• Strong nursing and support staff
• Robust salary and benefit package
