Hamilton Health Care System and the Hamilton Medical Center (HMC) are actively recruiting a Hospitalist to join their team of outstanding providers.
Here is an overview of the Hospitalist opportunity:
Dalton, Whitfield County, is located in north Georgia, 30 minutes south of Chattanooga, Tennessee and 90 minutes north of Atlanta. Dalton is in an ideal location situated at the foot of the Blue Ridge Mountains and just off of Interstate 75 for ease of travel. Dalton, Georgia is affectionately called the “carpet capital of the world,” but its main attractions lie outside the carpet showrooms. Dalton’s quaint southern charm is seen through our thriving downtown community and wonderful schools; both public and private. Opportunities to achieve a Work-Life Balance can be realized through an array of outdoor activities including; water sports, hiking, tennis and cycling.

- Sign-on bonus and relocation package
- Preferred years of experience: 5 years post-residency full time practice as hospitalist.
- Primary service area 250,000
- Block schedule 7 on/7 off, 12-hour shifts
- Teaching residents preferred. IM and FM residencies
- ER staff are first responders to Code Blue
- No procedures required.
- Extensive specialty coverage, co-manage with most surgical specialties, including orthopedic and neurosurgery patients
