We have a new locum opportunity outside of D.C needing Pediatric Hospitalist locum coverage.

Work Dates Needed: September 1, 2024. 6 shifts per month. 6 months, potentially longer. 24- Hour Shifts
• Preferred Schedule: 9a-9a w/ 24-hour shifts;
• Worksite Setting: Hospital; Pediatrics
• Scope of Work: Will consider candidates that only want weekends. Will consider candidate who travel. 1-3 admissions in a 24-hour shift
• Licenses, Certifications, Requirements: Active VA license, BC Pediatrics, PALS, NRP, Covid vaccine required
• EMR: Meditech
Who responds to codes, EM or HM? EM/ICU will respond to floor codes.
• Will locum providers respond to codes? Only in Nursery
• What procedures are required of locums? No procedures
• What is the total census per provider during the day? 3
• How many of those are admissions during day? 1 – 3 in a 24-hour period
• What is the total census covered at night? Ave census is 3
• Is beeper call required? N
• Do you have Intensivists? Yes
