**Hospitalist opening in Waterloo, Iowa**
Located 55 miles to Cedar Rapids
H1 and J1 visa sponsorship
**Position Details:**
- Full-time, permanent
- Well established, 22-member team (18 Physicians & 4 Advanced Practitioners) and growing
- Excellent specialty support
- 12 Bed ICU with intensivist
- Fully integrated system with clinic and hospitals on Epic EMR to improve care coordination
**Responsibilities:**
- Average patients/day: 15-18
- Admitting/Rounding on medical/surgical patients 18-years of age and older (adult), & non-maternity
- Shifts available: 5 on/5 off- 12-hour Day shift 7A-7P and occasional swing shift 12P-12A
- Days/Weekends/Holidays - shared equally amongst group
- Established Tele-hospitalist 7A-7P with local providers
- 2 med floors, 1 cardio,1 surgical, and consult in rehab/mental health
- Can cover ICU and perform procedures if desired, but this is NOT a requirement

**Qualifications:**
- MD or DO
- Board Certified Internal Medicine Preferred
- Hold an unrestricted license to practice medicine in Iowa
- Eligible to work in the United States
- Ability to work as a team member
