JOB DESCRIPTION:
Hospital in southern Ohio is seeking a current board-certified Hospital Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Family Practice physician to serve as the Associate Program Medical Director. Position will be 70% Clinical and 30% Administrative.
Associate Program Medical Director will work Monday through Friday preferably, however other full-time schedules that will guarantee successful administrative oversight are negotiable.
Desirable skills and Experience:
Minimum 3 years clinical experience
A Health-related master’s degree is desirable
Previous leadership and management skills in a clinical environment
Skill in physician and APP recruitment and retention practices
Experience in quality improvement initiatives, preferably with leadership responsibilities
Strong organizational skills to effectively delegate and manage timelines
