Alabama is Seeking to Hire an Experienced Internist/Hospitalist for Day Shift
No visa candidates will be accepted. Will only consider experienced candidates for this role.
Location:
Northeast Alabama – Situated in a tree-lined valley of the Appalachian foothills, this city has many recreational opportunities, including bicycling, fishing, camping, and golfing. It is also home to the areas Museum of Natural History, the local Museum of World History and the largest Episcopal Church. The nearest airport is Birmingham AL which is 45-50 miles from the community. The area has four distinct seasons to include long warm , humid summers, and mild winters . A lower than average
Excellent position for a BE/BC Internsit seeking a hospitalist position in Alabama. This hospital employed position is being offered by a 338 bed regional medical center. This is a well established Hospitalist program that is offering a Day hospitalist position. The Shift consists of 3 rounders, and 1 admit doctor. Schedule is 7:00 am to 7:00 pm. The day is almost exclusively rounding. The admit position is rotated amongst the team members. Schedule is 7 days on and 7 days off. Patient census is 15-20 patients per day. Additional shift pay for extra shifts is $1,500.00 per shift. No Procedures are required. However, procedures can be performed if the physician chooses. The hospital has a 18 bed, semi-open ICU. Some community providers follow their ICU patients. However, The ICU is staffed 24/7 with ICU NPs who do all the procedures.
Compensation:
Base Salary is $280k . If you want to do extra shifts Compensation will be is $1,500.00 per shift. No Procedures are required. Sign on Bonus $25k, wRVU incentives, Benefits, Malpractice, Relocation, Health, Dental, Vision, Retirement: 401k
